Last Night

Our evening started with Gregg coming home 2 hours early from work. Sneaky guy, never said a word to me. Gregg walks in with an assortment of roses. They are beautiful. We then continued our search online to find out what restaurant we wanted to eat at. We narrowed it down to 4 different ones. The great thing about the internet is that you can check out menus and see what foods each restaurant serves. We decided to go to the BluStone. Its a fairly new place here in town. We actually tried it out on father’s day. The food was delicious and the price was less than going to The Keg. Plus it’s better food. Best steak I’ve had in a while.

After dinner we checked out the smallest lounge in BC. Just off of the Mt.Lehman exit is a new liquor store and next door is a small 10 seat lounge. It was cute and comfy. We finished our drink and headed home. Once we were home we got ready to eat some cake.

5th Anniversary 043 5th Anniversary 045

Oh it was yummy! Even after 5 years it tasted great. This will take a weekend to eat…lol! Its so sweet and rich that I can only eat a bit at a time. I am not eating that thick icing, its like pure sugar. I’m sure this will put on a couple pounds!
