Self-Medicated

Thursday! yippee! yahooo!  ok, enough of that. I have no reason to be happy that its Thursday. Its not a special day. I just thought I would see how you all react to it. I’m trying to think of something to write about. Let’s see….. hmmm… well I colored my hair last Monday. I went from light brown to dark chocolate. Then I bleached out some strands in the front and added violet. I must say I like it! I just wish the violet showed more. So this weekend I am going to go get a brighter purple color and try again. I’m going to get Gregg to help me this time. I want to streak all around the bottom of my hair. So that the purple ends will show at the bottom of my layers. I think it will look great. I’ll post pictures once its done. Here is the before and after of Monday’s results. This is also rare to see me without make-up….LOL

I used tinfoil to keep the strand of hair for bleaching out of the way .

I normally dont like to post pictures of myself, but I’ll do it this time. Just cause I look so sexy!(LOL)

What I like about the snow…

1. I love how clean it looks.
2. I love how it melts on my tongue.
3. I love how it sparkles.
4. I love to hear it crunch when I walk on it.
5. I love to play in it.
6. I love to watch it fall.
7. I’ll miss it when I move to Mexico.

Just felt like sharing some pics of my kids. Baby turned 7 years this last October. and Bunny just turned 3 a couple weeks ago. She still looks like a kitten. Baby looks huge next to her. So here they are doing what they do best…..nothing!

When we were in Mexico we had met some really great people. There were so many of them. Today I want to talk about two people that I think are fantastic. Andy and Jen run the animal shelter in Playa del Carmen,Mexico. We had met them at the big Halloween party and arrange to go to the shelter and have a look and take some pictures. Well we didn’t know what to expect. Andy picked us up in his truck and I must say it was big compared to all the smaller vehicles in the town. I guess a full size pick-up truck does stick out a bit. We got to the shelter if you can call it that. It’s actually their home. All fenced in and dogs of all sizes and ages running around having a great time. We were greeted by a herd of puppies! I could see that they had their hands full. We sat and talked for a while and enjoyed watching the dogs play and chase each other till they were worn out and flopped down anywhere they felt was a comfy spot, which seemed to be a rubber mat that they all wanted to be on at the same time.

After a while another couple showed up. We sat and talked some more. We fell in love with every single dog, but if we could of, we would of taken Sophie home with us. Oh heck! We wanted them all! Even smelly George! We finally were ready to head back into town. Yes we smelled like George, but that was fine. I understand that Andy and Jen are working from donations and no real help from any government office as of yet. I think there is something in the works. So any help that can be given to them would help a lot.
