This summer the weather has been a little “off” to say the least! First its rain then sun then thunder and lightening and now a heat wave. I honestly believe that we have damaged our earth. The severe weather we have going on all over the planet is starting to show just how much trouble we are in for. Ah but I am just jabbering, I know nothing about this global warming stuff.

I just know that I am very glad I have A/C. I think i would be in a whole lot of pain if I had to suffer with just a fan on me. This rash i developed last week has finally gone away. I am going to assume it was a heat rash. I have never had one so painful. No amount of anti-itch cream and aloe vera lotions were helping. This morning I wake up and its completely gone. Thank you A/C!

Duncan has been sleeping thru most of the day, even he knows its too hot out there. Baby is spread out on the living room floor enjoying the cool air and Bunny is sleeping under the bed. I felt so bad, I didnt realize that I had locked her out on the deck saturday when i turned on the A/C. She was out there all day in 35c heat. When I opened the door she was crying and ran past me so fast to her food dish and litter box. After she had a drink she came and let me pet her. Just glad we dont have the sun on the deck all day otherwise I think she might of really cooked.

I do hope it cools down a bit soon. I dont mind the heat but when it gets past 30c it gets a bit too hot. Plus it would be nice to have  a breeze at least.

The Weekend is Here

So here we are again…another friday. Strange how that happens every week. Well this friday is a special day. Its my sister’s birthday! Yup…she turns..oops better not tell you. Lets just say she is older than me…hehehe. Well I hope you have a great day! Enjoy it!

I plan on doing …. thinking…. ummm…. ya know, I dont know what i plan on doing today. I know I have a book I need to finish reading. There is always laundry to do. Not fun. I think if the weather stays ok maybe Gregg and I can get the deck cleaned up and ready to start using it. I sure hope we can use it this year. Last summer I didn’t get out there very often cause Dippy was out there smoking his weed all the time, plus there is the dog shit smell that wasnt very pleasant. They have build a grass box so the dog can shit on that and that way they dont have to walk the dogs. Nice for them and handy too, but bad for us. Just think….shit..sun..warm up…stink! YUK!

Anyways, enough about Dippy and the dippettes.  I think we might go down to Bellingham to do some shopping. I have searched and cant find any normal jeans in this town. Maybe I can find some across the border. I could probably find some here but I dont want to pay 100 bucks. I’m going to checkout some online stores for the Bellingham area. Maybe someone knows of a good place to go to?

I think the laundry is calling me…catch ya later!

What a beautiful day! The sun is out once again and its going to stay for the week. I missed you Mr.Sun! I’m actually feeling better today. My shoulder is doing much better and my neck too. I still have a sore spot right between my shoulders but its getting better every day. There are days like today where I really want to go out and do stuff. Problem with that is that I end up doing too much and then I regret it by the evening time. So I am just taking it easy doing a few things around here and relaxing. I am not going to end up back in bed complaining about my sore back.

I’m currently searching for a good template to go with our beachy theme on our site that I can use for the condo cats page. I have a couple but I’m still searching to see if I find something better. Now back to work.
